Aerobatics is always the highlight of any good airshow program. It may be solo or group acrobatics and both of these categories are represented in the program of this year's Aviation Fair, taking place on the weekend of June 1stand 2ndat Pardubice Airport.
There will be several aerobatic performers and the audience will be able to compare the style of flight demonstrations of individual pilots. One performance, however, cannot be compared to any other. The show is a unique demonstration of aerobatics with the Bo 105CB helicopter in Red Bull livery.
“What makes such aerobatics unique? Above all, it is performed by a helicopter. The usual helicopter types can not fly aerobatics and only a few types have a special design of helicopter rotor heads, " Jan Rudzinskyj of the organizational staff of the Aviation Fair introduces the unconventional aerobatic performance and continues:" The rotor head construction itself is not enough and serial helicopters with appropriate rotor head can not do aerobatic s, there are a number of other structural modifications to be able to do this. There`s only three helicopters in the world with all necessary modifications, one of which arrives at the Aviation Fair in Pardubice. Obviously, the skill of the pilot is a necessary prerequisite for a perfect demonstration. Flying a helicopter is a very challenging task in aerobatic maneuvers and very few pilots in the world can handle an inverted helicopter. The world leader is undoubtedly Siegfried "Blacky" Schwarz, who will perform in the skies of Pardubice. "
Helicopter aerobatics will become one of a series of flight demonstrations presented to visitors on June 1stand 2ndin the sky above the Pardubice airport. In addition, a varied ground program with a diverse range of attractions, children's competitions, veterans, military, police and firefighting techniques is traditionally prepared.
