The top performance of any proper airshow is definitely aerobatics. It will surely not be missing in the program of this year's 23rd Aviation Fair, which will be held at Pardubice Airport during the weekend of 2nd and 3rd of June.
As the saying goes, acrobatics is the queen of air sports and there is certainly something to it, because watching the various manoeuvers in the sky is an unusual experience for every spectator. Elegance of the well-prepared sequence is even more impressive in group acrobatics. The world-famous Flying Bulls Aerobatic Team will present it to the audience. "This group is an inherent part of the Aviation Fair program almost from its beginning. For the first time, the Chrudim Quartet on Zlin Z-50LS has performed here in 1992, and the audience then had the opportunity to follow changes of its name, aircraft, and of the group members. At present, the Flying Bulls Aerobatic Team is flying modern Xtreme XA42 airplanes and will always add a new feature to its sequence for the new season. While watching the demanding manoeuvers of group flying at a speeds of 100 - 420 kph, the viewer can hardly imagine the aircraft being just a few tens of centimeters apart from each other. Although the Flying Bulls Aerobatic Team is a stable star of the airshows, only a few people know it is a direct descendant of a group founded exactly sixty years ago in Chrudim. During that time, almost everything around us has changed considerably, except for the skills and quality of the group's pilots still remaining at a high level, "says Petr Kolmann, AeroHobby, aviation writer.
Pardubice Airport will be open for the public, on 2nd and 3rd of June from 8 am and there will be a rich land program with a large number of different activities for children besides flight demonstrations.
