Anyone expecting performance of snake charmers, will surely be disappointed as the Aviation Fair is famous air show and will remain so even after its twenty-eighth edition, taking place at the Pardubice airport on 2nd and 3rd of June 2018.
However, what should a visitor of the Pardubice air show expect under the name Anakonda, Jan Rudzinskyj from the organizing committee explains. "Anakonda is the name of naval version of the Polish W-3A Sokol helicopter. We know it from the equipment of the Czech Air Force, too, where it is irreplaceable especially in the Air Rescue Service on two sites managed by the Czech Air Force. But let's get back to the naval rescue version of Anakonda. It is distinguished by the special rescue equipment necessary for action at sea. An interesting fact is that Anakonda is also equipped with six inflatable floats on the bottom of the hull. Each has a volume of 1300 liters when inflated and allows the helicopter landing on the sea surface. We will certainly not see them in the inflated state during Aviation Fair because we lack the sea or a suitable water body. Still, it will be an interesting helicopter that has not yet been seen on Aviation Fair.
Pardubice Airport will be open for the public on 2nd and 3rd of June from 8 am and there will be a rich land program with a large number of different activities for children besides flight demonstrations.
