Army of the Czech Republic has been a traditional participant in the Aviation Fair and this year is no exception. The Czech Air Force will give air and static performances at the Pardubice Airport on 6 and 7 June. These will feature JAS-39C Gripen jets, L-159A ALCA subsonic aircrafts as well as Mi-35 and Mi-171Š combat helicopters.
“Army of the Czech Republic Air Force will show visitors main types of their equipment. Their program will start with a ceremonial flypast, followed by solo demonstrations of the individual aircrafts. Last year, the rescue of a pilot from enemy territory with helicopters was hugely popular. Aviation Fair visitors will have another opportunity to watch the performance this year when it will also include Mi-171Š transport helicopter and Mi–35 combat helicopter, which will provide air cover during the whole operation, ” says Ladislav Minařík from the Aviation Fair organizing team.
In addition, Czech Air Force aircrafts will present diverse ordnance during the static demonstration. Besides aircrafts, the Czech Army will also demonstrate a wide a range of ground vehicles and equipment at the Aviation Fair.
